Since had my weather station last week the questions seem to come thick and fast.
This one is a further query about uploading data to PWS. I run my PC link to the weather station from getting up in the morning to going to bed at night. So for the night hours the data is uploaded in the morning. This is fine and works for me and I am happy with the output to my website and the data I'm collecting.
However.............
The PWS upload does not seem to follow the same pattern. The nighttime data did not upload this morning - so I appear to be getting a gap in my readings posted there. I would have expected Cumulus to do the same with PSW as it does with my website.
Can someone give me some more information on this issue - or do those who post 24hours of data to PWS keep their PC's running 24/7?

Re: Another PWS Question?
Most if not all of the 'weather sites' where you send information or they grab a file from your site, work in the same way as realtime.txt.
ie. They have no facility to cope with historical data ! - they just pick up the 'last' record and it's time stamp.

Re: Another PWS Question?
That's right. The data does have a timestamp in it, but there's no facility for uploading historical data even if you set the timestamps appropriately. Wunderground is the same.
