Hello everyone:

I would like to know if there is any possibility of creating daily ten-minute files with the title always the same as the ones I add. Or if you could give me an idea of how to create them using the cumulus.

Eaxample:

14/3/13
Time Wind Dir Wind Spd Wind Gust Humidity Temp Tot Rain UV Solar Wind Chill Dew Point Barom
° km/hr km/hr % °C mm W/sqm °C °C hPa mm mm/hr
0:00 91 0.0 1.6 81 17.1 20.6 0.0 0 17.1 13.8 1017.9 0.0 0.0

You should be able to do that using some text for the titles followed by the webtags.
Set up Cumulus to process the file every 10 mins and send it wherever you need it to go.

Check out the Wiki.

Just a teaser to get you started - maybe something like;

Code: Select all

Time Wind Dir Wind Spd Wind Gust Humidity Temp Tot Rain UV Solar Wind Chill Dew Point Barom
<#bearing> <#windunit> <#windunit> % °C mm W/sqm °C °C hPa mm mm/hr
<#avgbearing> <#wspeed> <#wgust>

The web tags will get you the entries, but a mechanism is needed to append the entries to the log file; Cumulus won't do that.

Hello again:

Really I need the dayly ten-minute files to create graphs and I have seen the sow
ftware "Cumulus realtime data grabber" and maybe I can do the graphs with this software.

Thanks.

If you are creating the graphs on your website then you can append the data there with;
<?php file_put_contents( $filename, $data , FILE_APPEND); ?>
then update the graph.
