WS1080 data not downloading

Hi, When I open Cumulus, the weather station dialog box opens and the small box opens for downloading data, nothing happens and the small box disappears. The weather station data is unchanged and everything is froze up. I am using Windows7 and have downloaded Cumulus version v1.9.3 (build 1059) - Feb 09 2013.
My weather station is USB connected. I have used the USB connection for over a year without problems until lately.

I have also tried using previous versions of Cumulus, but still the same thing.
What do I need to do to get Cumulus to download the data from the weather station?

You probably have the infamous 'USB lockup' problem. If you would like me to confirm this, please zip up the diags folder and attach it. You will probably need to reset the station (remove batteries and USB cable) to get it talking again. The 'synchronise Fine Offset reads' setting appears to be working well for most people in avoiding this issue that more recent (last couple of years or so) Fine Offset stations exhibit.

I have never zipped files before. How do I zip the dialog files and send it to you?
