Interesting. I wonder if Davis are involved? Or are OS just copying? The wind sensors are upside-down

Yes, turn the wind sensor and you have a Davis.
Also the price is about the same € 599,00

Looks like a cooperation to me - in the video of the rain gauge (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_tNJ2LEjXM ) it looks like they are using the same mouldings for the case and tip buckets as Davis, likewise for the TH 'pancakes'

...And the diagrams in the manual show the 'same' TH sensor assembly as well.
Transmission intervals look familiar for the wind & temp:
Wind: 2.5~3 sec
TH: 10~12 sec
Rain: 20~24 sec

Davis Instruments would like to dispel the speculation that we are somehow associated with Oregon Scientific and the WMR300. Davis Instruments has no relationship with Oregon Scientific; the WMR300 is an attempt to copy our Vantage Pro2 weather station. Davis stands behind the quality and durability of our products and remains committed to designing and manufacturing high-quality, precision weather stations– all at a competitive price.

Anybody know if the wind bearing is reported in degrees or in sectors?

One degree resolution - it is a VP2 clone!

Interesting as I need that resolution to parse the bearing into the local wind names and subnames. See:

The OSI corporate site has a
page for the WMR300 now, and the price for Europe is slightly more than the VP2 at €599, but you do get the data logger built in.

Hi
Any chance that this will be added to the list of supported station in Cumulus in the future?
