I don't use Weatherlink because I find it too confusing which is why I switched to Cumulus. Also, I'd have to change my website files to compensate for the change so I'll stick to Cumulus for now.

Well, it's all stored on the Davis Vantage Vue Console, unless I can find it in one of the Cumulus files...?

Again! The high gust today on Cumulus says 24 mph and on my Davis Vantage Vue Console it says 25 mph and oddly enough the 2 readings are 1 minute apart... :?

I noticed earlier that your web site was showing the 25 mph high wind speed that you quoted earlier, rather than the 24 mph that you said Cumulus was showing. Had you edited today.ini?

Ah, OK, that's a shame as the new version would have updated it, so it would have been useful to see. But you weren't to know, so we'll just see how it goes from now on. I can't fully test it myself as I use a 0900 start of day.

Well, it worked! The time and value of the wind gust matched up with Cumulus, today! :D

You should install build 1074 when you get a chance; there's a small possibility that build 1073 could crash if it gets a bad high gust time from the console.

Ok, thanks. I haven't had Cumulus v1.9.4-b1073 crash, yet! :D

EDIT: Ok, I've successfully updated to Cumulus v1.9.4-b1074 but I forgot to copy the Cumulus.ini file over so I got in a slight pickle but everything is fine, now. :D

Hi Steve,

I too updated to the latest beta after noticing a difference between the station high and the Cumulus gust values.

Today (so far) Cumulus has recorded the same high gust value and time stamp as was recorded yesterday for my high gust.

Just thought I should make you aware.

Regards,

Simon.

Looks OK now? What time was it when you noticed this? Is/was the date and time on your station set correctly?
