Stuck on 'Processing Data' - please help!

Hello Steve
Please can you help me. I've already tried copying an older set of files from the Backup folder and tried resetting the receiver and unplugging the USB cable however it still locks up when entering Cumulus and after it goes through all of the downloading data stages. The bar doesnt even fill with green at any point. Then the only way I can get out of Cumulus is through Task Manager as it becomes non responsive.
I have attached the contents of my Diags folder. Please help! Thanks.

Having reset the station, it's now working fine, it's just having to download a lot of data, because apparently you haven't run Cumulus since 17th December last year. It will finish downloading eventually if you allow it. Or you could reinstate the original files.
5/5/2013 19:04:42.988 : Read today file: Date = 5/5/2013, LastUpdateTime = 12/17/2012 3:30:00 AM
Presumably the old date is because the files you've copied from a backup are very old?

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately the problem still isnt solved. It goes through all the downloading files process with the random letters and numbers (e.g. F4C98 etc.) but then hangs on "Processing data" with none of the progress bar filled. What could be happening?

Since my last post Steve, the green bar has gone from no progress to one green bar. In the background it is updating the main Cumulus page every minute or so. Everything seems to be mega slow. Surely the processing data bit should fly through?

It's having to process a lot of data, the entire contents of the logger, and as the station's logger interval is 30 minutes, the data covers a lot of days, so there is extra processing to be performed. If it's updating the display from the logger data, then presumably you have the default setting for 'update display during logger download', which slows it down considerably. You are also using a very old version of Cumulus.
Have you not tried reinstating the more recent data files? It then wouldn't have to download all of the data. You're effectively replacing all of your data for the last few months with the lower resolution data from the logger. And as you had the problem with the station which required it to be reset, I'm not even sure that the data being downloaded will be valid; it's quite likely to be assigned to the wrong date and time, as the entries don't contain timestamps.

I changed the data to the backup from May 1st before starting the downloading and processing stages. What do you recommend I do? Is it worth interrupting it now or just leave it to do its thing?

It shouldn't take long at all to process data from only a few days ago at a 30-minute logger interval - just a few minutes - so I have no idea why it's taking so long on your system. Are you sure it's downloading data from May 1st, or from the previous time before that when you started Cumulus, which is when the backup taken on the 1st May would be from. What's the timestamp in today.ini in the backup that you are now using?
You should be aiming to get back to the situation you were in when the station needed a reset, with the data as it was at that point, as all that was needed was the reset. I don't know what to recommend, because I don't know what data you actually have. You are probably now going to have a gap in your data, and you need to minimise that gap using the data that you have.
I do recommend that you install the latest version of Cumulus, and that when you have it running again you unselect ''update display during logger download' in the display settings.
Do you know that your PC is on US settings, by the way? I'm not sure whether that's part of the problem. It appears that when you first started using Cumulus you were on UK settings.
