Cumulus stopped communicating with my WH1081

Cumulus stopped communicating with my WH1081
It has been a while since my WH1081 can not link with my Cumulus software. I installed the latest version but still no go. Removed the USB cable and took out batteries from the WH1081 so as to boot it. Nothing works. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
