Next step in website

Post by willper »

I have looked for a topic about what to put in the web browser and all I can find is the cumulus help that says to view your website you must enter http://yourdomain.com/weather. I tried my website http://frontrangeweather.net/cumulus and I receive an error message

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /cumulus/ on this server.

I am stuck at this position.

Cumulus v 1.9.3
windows 8

Thanks

If you've configured Cumulus correctly, it should be uploading an index.htm file (amongst other things) here: http://frontrangeweather.net/cumulus/index.htm

Have you followed the instructions for setting up your web site (uploading the contents of the webfiles folder to your ftp server), and have you configured Cumulus to actually upload the web pages? Could you show a screen shot of your internet settings screen?

If you think you have done the necessary configuration, it is likely that you haven't got the ftp directory set correctly in Cumulus. If you turn on ftp logging, the ftplog.txt file that is created may be of some help.
