Time and date display on unit

Post by Jasnick »

Good afternoon
Using WS-1081 and Cumulus software 1.9.3 Build 1059 - Windows 7

How do I make sure the Display is showing the time and date from the computer? Is there a setting I have failed to set?

I did read the ReadMe and tried to follow it - not sure I understood the double Format instruction?

Thanks

There's no way to set the clock on a Fine Offset station except by using the console.

Thanks Steve - so you are saying if I turn off the computer each night, I need to re-set the clock etc each day?

The clock on the station will continue to run as long as the station has power - either batteries or via USB. Many PCs continue to supply power to the USB sockets even when powered off (assuming they are still connected to the mains, of course).

Note that Cumulus doesn't use the date and time on the station at all.
