Does Cumulus download all the data from the data logger each time Cumulus is started?. I usually run Cumulus once per day for an hour or so & when I have finished my computer time I turn it off & generally repeat the process again the next day.
The reason I ask this is to be sure that there is not a backlog of data accumulating in the logger that may cause problems later.

Re: Does Cumulus download all the Logger's data each time
Cumulus downloads only the logger data from the point since the last previous download by Cumulus. Cumulus does not erase or remove any data from the logger. New data from the ISS will continue to be logged at the interval setting (through Weatherlink - default is 30 minutes). It is recommended that the Cumulus data interval and the Davis datalogger interval be set at the same frequency. The time period for datalogger storage depends on the interval frequency, and when the capacity is reached the oldest data will be over-written by the new data. The datalogger at 10 minute interval stores about 17 days of data - i.e. the most recent 17 days. A more frequent or less frequent interval setting will decrease or increase the days of data stored. So as long as you run Cumulus regularly (which downloads logger data) before the datalogger starts to overwrite data not yet downloaded there would be no cause for any problems.

Re: Does Cumulus download all the Logger's data each time
Here's the logger data storage based on the archive interval chosen.
Archive Storage Capacity (the amount of time before the archive is completely filled):
1 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 42 hours
5 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 8 days
10 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 17 days
15 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 26 days
30 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 53 days
60 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 106 days
120 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 213 days
When "full" it overwrites oldest data.
