realtime.txt

Post by kalln »

Is there a way to generate the realtime.txt file under the Web subfolder rather than in the main Cumulus folder? That is my webserving folder and I can't figure how to move it there effectively. -Thanks

You could get Cumulus to copy it there by listing it on the files tab:

Local file: C:\Cumulus\realtime.txt
Remote file: C:\Cumulus\web\realtime.txt
Tick the 'Realtime' box and leave the rest unticked.

That was my original thought, but thought I might not have the right box ticked - unfortunately I can't make that file transfer to happen using this method. I'm attaching my ini file to see if you can find out what I'm doing wrong! BTW I'm using your latest build 1.9.3 -Thanks

You've selected 'Enable Realtime FTP' and 'Realtime.txt FTP', but you're not using FTP. It doesn't carry out any additional realtime operations (including copying) because it can't establish the realtime FTP connection. This wasn't a conscious decision, it's just the way the code came out, and it's non-trivial to change. If you unset those two settings it should start working.
