I am trying to move from Windows SBS2003 (which runs Cumulus) to Windows SBS2011.
On SBS2011, Cumulus starts up, there is a process (Cumulus *32) and that's it. No user interface, nothing.
Running latest version Cumulus 1.9.3. As far as can gather SBS2011 is a packaged version with Windows 2008 at its core.
Cumulus does come up on Windows 2008.
Any experience in this area?
Any suggestions for debugging?
Rgds, Ronald

Re: SBS2011
I think it's actually Windows Server 2008 R2 that SBS 2011 is based on (i.e. the same kernel as Windows 7)? I run Cumulus on Windows Home Server 2011, which is also based on Server 2008 R2, and it runs fine on that. I'm afraid I can't think of any debugging that you could do from the Cumulus point of view to investigate the reason for the window not being displayed. If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I could take a look to see if there are any clues in there.

Re: SBS2011
Thanks for your - usual... - quick response....
I am afraid the Diags folder remains completely empty...
Desperate as I am I started fiddling with Compatibility Mode and it DOES come up when ran in XP SP 3 mode.
I'll do some more fiddling, but XP SP 3 mode is fine with me....
Any checks you want me to do?

Re: SBS2011
I can't think of anything that would be useful; I don't know why it apparently needs compatibility mode, it doesn't with WHS 2011.ronalddevos wrote:Any checks you want me to do?
