Transmitting Bad data to WU

Hello everyone,

I've been using cumulous with my Vantage Vue for around a month now with no issues. Out of the blue this morning, it seems to be stuck on a temperature, and is broadcasting the same information over and over to WU.

I deleted the the logged data, and it still has the bad information in there. The software itself shows a different temperature, however.

Strange that this would pop up all of a sudden.

Is it still doing it now? If so, turn on the debug log and let it run for a while (until a number of WU updates have been done), and then attach the debug.log file here, please. Please also give a link to your WU page. Are you using rapid fire? What version and build of Cumulus are you using?

Hi. This is the page for WU:

http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... =KILADDIS4

It's also doing it on PWS:

http://www.pwsweather.com/obs/KILADDIS4.html

I'm using the current version of Cumulus. I was using rapid fire but stopped.

Here you go.

That's not the debug.log file. But anyway, the answer seems to be there, as it happens:

4/8/2013 12:58:09.591 : VP2: LoadCurrentVantageData_V, error = -32701
4/8/2013 12:58:09.591 : VP2: Closing connection, result = 1
4/8/2013 12:58:10.595 : VP2: OpenTCPIPPort_V, res = 0
4/8/2013 12:58:16.875 : VP2: LoadCurrentVantageData_V, error = -32701
4/8/2013 12:58:16.875 : VP2: Closing connection, result = 1
4/8/2013 12:58:17.876 : VP2: OpenTCPIPPort_V, res = 0
4/8/2013 12:58:24.156 : VP2: LoadCurrentVantageData_V, error = -32701
4/8/2013 12:58:24.156 : VP2: Closing connection, result = 1
4/8/2013 12:58:25.157 : VP2: OpenTCPIPPort_V, res = 0

It's having problems communicating with the station, so it just re-uses the last value that it managed to read. I don't understand how the main display can be showing a different value, the WU code uses the same value.

You're using a Weatherlink IP logger, yes? It seemed to run OK for about 40 minutes before the communication problem started.

By the way, you have Cumulus set to a logging interval of one minute, but your station set to 30 minutes, so you are hitting the issue described here: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#Cumulu ... t_start_up

Hi. I'm at work right now, so I can't access the console. I'll do that later.

The data now looks ok on PWS, but it's still on 51.4, even though this is the temp currently on cumulus:
