Correcting data after station locked

I have just been away a week and have come back to find that the station locked and Cumulus stopped recording data fro 30/3/2013. I have a backup station which records data in parallel so I have used the back-up to restore Cumulus back to the 30/3 and connected the backup station to download the missing data. This all completed fine (BST didn’t help!) apart from an erroneous rain rate error which I have manually corrected (The graphs all look odd but I’m sure they’ll resolve themselves over time). Is there a quick way to get all the records up to date rather than manually amending each one given that the March log file is now correct. There is a “create missing” option for the dayfile.txt file but I’m unsure how this works. Do I delete the erroneous 30/3/13 entry and then it will create the complete day’s data? Apologies if I have missed the answers in the Cumulus help or forum…. :bash:

Yes, the dayfile editor can currently only create complete entries, so you would need to delete the entry and do a 'create missing'.

Having corrected dayfile.txt, you can use the high/low editors to fetch the data to amend the high/low data.
