Today.ini reset after reinstalling weatherlink

Hi Steve
I have recently had a new install of Windows 7 64-bit on my computer, and only got around to installing Weatherlink yesterday. First I closed Cumulus/WD and disconnected the console as the software initially requested. Then during the installation process Weatherlink cleared all the data off the Davis data logger. Once I restarted Cumulus, around 9.50pm local, today.ini was reset and the true 'today' data was written to yesterday.ini.
Unfortunately I only noticed what happened around 11.10pm local. I closed Cumulus and manually fixed today.ini and yesterday.ini (the latter was easy, just copy the file across from the backups folder).
I realise none of this would have happened if I had started Cumulus before opening WL and performing the set up steps. Whoops.
But I am just wondering why Cumulus reset the daily figures as if a new day had started? It seems as though Cumulus saw a strange situation but didn't quite handle it very well in this case. I can attach the specific diags file if you like. I have read it myself
