Re: What to do after blue screen of death?
You've lost your settings, so presumably your cumulus.ini file got corrupted when the PC crashed. You can either enter your settings again, or restore your cumulus.ini file from a backup (assuming you take backups).
Your Apr13log.txt file also got corrupted, you need to open it in a decent text editor (like notepad++) go to line 760 and fix the problem - a blank line, or garbage, or whatever.

Re: What to do after blue screen of death?
Steve,
Thanks for the quick reply – apologies for not getting back sooner but in addition to PC issues the hosting company have been less than helpful in re-establishing FTP access.
Backup; yes the usual backup to the Cumulus Backup folder but no Cumulus.ini file. Otherwise I do backup weekly but that’s the whole of the C: drive so have opted to manually re-enter setup details into Cumulus.
Lesson learnt – backup Cumulus daily.

Re: What to do after blue screen of death?
That's not really a backup. I should probably have called it "checkpoint".Andy wrote:the usual backup to the Cumulus Backup folder
It's a good idea. I backup all my systems once a day (automatically). I've been considering backing up the backups to one of those online systems for further security.Lesson learnt – backup Cumulus daily.
