Yes, we can do basic hosting for Cumulus for £5/year. Bring your own domain or have anythingyouwant.sandaysoft.com

Hi

I have been directed to this thread by Steve, and have tried downloading the PHP-GD banner script fromTNETweather.com but when I click on the ZIP or PDF it comes up with an AVG8 page...

Can I get this from anywhere else??

Also I might need a little bit of help, well a little might be an understatment as I am a complete newbie with PHP.

Regards

Dave

Dave

That sounds a bit odd.
Confirm you are using a single click on the bit that says "Zip" http://www.tnetweather.com/cumulus.php for the banner section ?

Its not your AVG anti virus software kicking in and preventing you from downloading it ?

Hi Paul

I am deffinatly only single clicking it, just takes me straight to http://www.avg.com

I even triet "right click" and "save as" and just says save file as AVG and file type is HTML

Looks like a problem with AVG to me. You do use AVG? I think it's trying to scan the zip and something is going wrong. What does that avg.html file actually contain?

Very odd - it almost looks like you've been hijacked and sent to the AVG site by something.

It's just a case of a bit of configuration near the top of the file, not too hard. :)

Have tried it and all I get is "the image http://www.worsley-weather.co.uk/banner.php" can not be displayed, because it contains errors.

This is how I have set it up, as directed in the pdf file?

Glad you sorted it out.

I have tested the file and even with AVG it shows no issues.

It looks like you are being redirected. Perhaps by a proxy??
