I’m just posting to see my banner.
Still using http as I’m not a bank requiring secure login.
I have Ad Block Plus running on my iPad with an exclusion for cumulus.hosiene.co.uk.
EDIT: Yep, there it is.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

Paul, what device and OS are you viewing the forum on? Surely there’s a setting that allows you to add exceptions.
What happens when you click on image?
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

Hi Ray,
I generally use Edge on PC with Windows 10.
In Edge and also Chrome both your and my Banner don't display for me, and in yours clicking on your "image" icon it goes to your website but in mine doesn't do anything.
In FF both yours and my banners display ok for me, and clicking on yours goes to your website. But clicking on my banner doesn't do anything so must have my code wrong.
Enjoy,
Paul

Roger that Paul. It seems to me Edge and Chrome are too controlling. Or protective to put it another way. I detest Chrome and the way it's pushed through 3rd party software. I'll never have the bloody thing installed.
This is the code I use in my signature...
Code: Select all

You shouldn't need the ?source=view in the link, Ray.

I've also now switched on a setting which every time I now got to a website without SSL i get Warned.
Which is also annoying.
NonSecure.PNG
Oh and Lets Encrypt are also about to pull 2millions SSL due to a mix up
So I'm sure there will be a few more SSL Warnings soon.

I just copied and pasted the code years ago. Is it compromising anything by leaving it alone?
@SJG1976, if my browser showed that message it wouldn’t be staying on my hardware for long. Too bloody controlling.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

I've sort of got used to it now, and it's a Sanity Check!
It's if the next one that Pop-Up about people trying to Steal your password is more worrying, but that is only if there are forms on the page.

Not sure. It might be why we can't see your banner?! David's shows up, and it's not HTTPS.

Thanks Mapantz and Ray.
I now have the link working. It works with or without ?source=view, but only in FF.
Enjoy,
Paul
