Error Code 5.

Trying to reinstall Cumulus after PC crash.
But receiving message "An error occurred when trying to replace existing file. Delete file failed; Code 5. Access is denied"
Would appreciate any help on this. Thank you.

That error (with any installer) usually indicates that the software you are trying to update is still running. If the Cumulus window isn't visible, look in task manager, or try rebooting.

Thank you for your reply and advice.
Unfortunately, I am still unable to resolve the problem.
In Task Manager under processes, there are a number of files " cumulus exe 32".
When I try to remove them, I am denied access.
I would really like to uninstall/delete all previous references to Cumulus and reinstall new program.
Is this possible?

You can't do it while Cumulus is running. I don't understand why Task Manager won't allow you to end tasks. But rebooting will do it.
