WH1081 Wind Direction

Post by Mark56 »

Hi there

First posting so please be gentle

I have just purchased a WH1081 from Maplin and now have this running with Cumulus software. Not sure if I am reading this correct but is there a way to set the wind direction as "From" as opposed to "To"

It's normal to have wind direction as "from"; it's how the station displays it, and it's how Cumulus displays it. Perhaps you've installed your wind vane 180 degrees out?

 Gosh do I feel stupid - I was reading the vane incorrectly - climbed up on the roof and realised the wind was indeed blowing in the direction indicated
