Dam My Man you have nailed it in the last 15 months

Post by arthurhh »

I got out of weather about 14 months ago, just too frustrated with the difficulties of the software I was using, and other hassles and pressures.

Now getting back in, and boy has Cumulus matured in the time I have been away, my site will be cumulus based, one of my other local sites is now (1.5 hrs to do it) become a cumulus site and I expect another one to join us as soon as his current (my ex software) screws up again.

Steve As my finances improve you can expect to see a reasonable donation from me in the hundred level.

I am pleased to see the backing you are getting for the carter lake templates this indicates a mature and developed product to me.

I was thinking only the other day that Cumulus is probably close to being 'usable' now. By that I mean that it provides most of the 'core' functionality that you might expect. There are still quite a few 'basic' areas that it's not good at, and hopefully I'll address those eventually. There are lots of more 'esoteric' facilities that other software provides, some of which I will probably never find time to add, and others which I have no intention of adding.
