I've seen the same crash reported by two or three people before, and in all cases they were using HP computers. The crash is in third-party code and I don't know what the cause is. I seem to to remember that someone found they had a problem with the fonts that were installed on their system - some of the ones that would normally be there were not - and correcting that stopped the crash.

Thanks Steve for the reply, have you any idea where I can find the correct font package or what my next steps are to rectify the issue?

There's a thread here from someone who had the same problem, and their solution is described there: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8810

Don't know if it will be any use to you. Out of interest, do you have an HP computer?

I just had a quick google, and missing Arial and Verdana fonts seems to be a common problem on HP systems.

Steve that worked a treat, I'd keep that on file for reference, easy and quick fix, Cumulus is now working.

Many thanks,
Dean.

Edit actually it is working and connecting to my weather station, when I go to "View > Highs and Lows" or go to look at a new record it crashes.

Thanks,
Dean.

Yes, it's the same (type of) crash that you were having before. The all time records screen uses Tahoma - do you have that on your system?

Cumulus uses the following fonts:

Arial
Consolas
Courier New
MS Sans Serif
Tahoma
Verdana

I only have Tahoma bold, should I try and download a full tahoma font pack?

Sorted Steve,
I downloaded Tahoma fonts and copied into the font folder in the Windows directory, all is working perfectly now.

Thanks again.
