Hello
As I open the front page: My Weather
and under the Rainfall reads 0 right down through
what I can't understand is that when I enter NOAA monthly reports
all the readings are there
I wonder if there is any way I can correct it!
Many Thanks

The monthly and yearly totals are calculated from the daily totals in dayfile.txt. If there's a problem with that file, the totals can't be calculated. Normally Cumulus would flash the error light and clicking on that would show you where the error is. If it's not doing that, please zip up the diags folder and attach it, along with your dayfile.txt file.

Steve
The red was flashing
it read:28/3/2013 20:36:34: error on line 1 of dayfile. txt: is not a valid integer value.

oaktree ?

If you can't see what the problem is in dayfile.txt, attach it here (you may need to zip it to get the forum to allow it) and I'll take a look. Often it's just a blank line. Unless you've been editing in Excel, which can completely screw up the format.

I haven't been on here for quite a long time as you may notice.
So I have no idea of how to zip up my station and send off.

Instructions for attaching files are in the post linked to near the top of the forum page - "Please click here before posting".

The dayfile.txt file is in the Cumulus data folder. When you reply to a post, there's a box under where you type your reply called "Upload attachment" with a "choose file" button. Use that to select your dayfile.txt file, then click the "add the file" button. I'm pretty sure the forum accepts .txt files, so you don't need to bother zipping it.

Hi
I think I have cured the problem Steve.

By disconnecting PC from the weather monitor and also moving one battery for halve a minute.
Cumulus Screen shows My Weather now
with rainfall of this Month 105.0 mm
and this Year 260.6 mm

as in the past few weeks it only show 0.0 mm

Hoping that's fixed!
Many Thanks for your help and time!

"oh" is it worth me to down load the latest v 1.9.3?

If you're currently using 1.9.2 or an earlier build of 1.9.3, then you should consider installing the latest 1.9.3 build, yes.

Sorry, I don't understand. Are you saying I'm not to be trusted? You don't have to install it if you don't want to, it's entirely up to you.

Windows and some antiviruses ask questions such as these in the case you don't know the program, not because it detected anything malicious, so you can say continue.
