Re: Cumulus Version 1.9.3 (Build 1059)
This morning, there was no current data on my weather (http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... =KMTSTEVE4) website?
When I checked my weather system computer, there was a message saying "Downing Load Data, Please Wait", and clicking on any Cumulus choices did not respond?
Eventually I managed to close Cumulus, but restarting it, lead to the same thing happening?
I tried reinstalling Cumulus, but afterwards, the "Error" light kept blinking, and again, none of the Cumulus choices would respond?
I am out of ideas as to how to fix this?
Any help would be appreciated.

I checked that, but that's not the problem, this time, although I have had an up-load problems in the past.
First, the Ambient weather station don't have anything stored in memory, which it would if the up-load to Cumulus failed.
It is like either the Ambient data is being sent to the Cumulus, or it's going off to never, never land?
Second, I if manage to shut down Cumulus, I have to right click down on the task bar, and then select "Close Window", because nothing else responds?
Then, when I restart Cumulus, it comes up, and gives a message "Down Loading Data, Please Wait", for a short time, then the message goes away, and the red error button, starts blinking. (This Message was on the screen when I checked first thing this morning?)
But, Cumulus seems to be frozen up at this point, and nothing I click on works. Not even when I click on the top area, where you can move the Cumulus image around the screen?
So, to me it looks like nothing is ever getting to Cumulus to start with, but the Ambient Wx station doesn't seem to know it?
Not sure I have described what is happening completely, or correctly, but that's the best I can tell?

It sounds like the same problem to me. It's not clear to me why you think it isn't the same problem. For reasons unknown, Cumulus locks up when it can't communicate with the station. I think it's something to do with the 'Please wait' window still having focus, although it's not visible.

If you're convinced it's not the usual problem with the station and a reset of the station doesn't sort it out, zip up the diags folder and attach it and I'll take a look.

Sorry about that, I did re-set the weather station, and it fixed it.
Reason I didn't think so, was every other time this happened, for several hours, there was quite a bit of memory usage shown, and this time there was no memory usage shown at all?
Anyway, thanks for helping me to fix it?
Learn something new, and different every day, it seems.

You might want to consider trying the 'synchronise Fine Offset reads' setting, if it locks up on a regular basis.

Than ks, I tried that setting, just now.
Hope it works better now?

Ever since I selected the "syncronize Fine Offset reads" setting , I haven't had another lock up as I having before.

Maybe, every so many days, I will notice that there is some memory used on my Ambient Station monitor, but there are no more error messages, or lockups, so it appears to be re-setting itself now?

Anyway, thought this might help someone else?
