Firmware webtag reporting incorrect...

Hi Steve,

Any one else noticed/having a problem with the webtag '$DavisFirmwareVersion'?

A colleague I have just noticed, although we both have Firmware V1.90 on the VP2 console the webtag reports it as 'V1.80'.

Cumulus 1.9.3 build 1059

Code: Select all

$DavisFirmwareVersion = '1.80'; // the console firmware version (Davis stations only)

I've noticed that the firmware version fails to read on some stations, but I've not been aware of it being wrong before. If you look near the beginning of a diags file, you'll see where it was read and what value it got back. Are you connecting directly to the station, rather than via Virtual VP or whatever?

Good call Steve, connection through VVP reports as V1.80, connection direct to console reports V1.90

Using the webtag <#DavisFirmwareVersion> it's correctly reporting 3.12 on my system.

Cumulus version in my sig banner. Connection is via VVP.
