Radar/Satellite images on web page

Hi!. I've noticed many sites include just the weather sat image from other sites. I know how to iframe to a complete page, but can't seem to figure how to just get the required image from it. Naturally I would supply a link and credit to the original site.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks
Brian.

Brian,
I can't help with your request but on visiting your site this popup appeared. I'm not sure what it's purpose is but it probably shouldn't be appearing. Visitors will definitely be put off by it.

Beats me what's causing that Ray. I don't get it when I view my site on this, or an alternative computer here.
Only alien, so to speak, software is the scrolling weather ticker from the Isle Of Wight site. I've used the Ham Radio gif on my other site no prob. Maybe the iframe to aprs.fi? The pulsing gifs made at
http://cooltext.com/
That's all I need
Wonder if anyone else is getting the same warning?

I just had a squint at your site Ray and notice you have already done what I'm trying to do re imported radar images, so wonder how you did it?

I get a warning about that, as it's Java.

Hi Brian,
If you mean the Meteox link here is my code...
<tr>
<td colspan="5" style="padding: 10px 0; text-align: center;">
<img src="
http://www.meteox.co.uk/images.aspx?jaar=-3" width="512" height="512" alt="Meteox"/>
</td>
</tr>
You may have to adjust/remove the colspan value depending on whether you have the image in a table or not.
Hope that helps.

Always when your in a hurry

I have to go out in a minute, so the consul decides not to receive data from the transmitter. Been outside under same and took batteries out and replaced. No outside sigs being received Grrrr. I'll have to leave it 'till later and probably have to take the tx'er down and see if bat contacts ok I suppose. Only been up a week for goodness sake.
I'll check in later.
Cheers!
Brian

Having reset the transmitter, you may need to reset the console to get it to pick the signal up again.

Hi Brian,
No message now.

You might want to correct your spelling of 'guages' on your main menu.

Ok Steve, understood. Have to try that tomorrow now (Saturday) I've just got back from trip to Glastonbury (Wife's birthday) and too late to sort it now (22:00). Chucking it down with rain anyway. I hope I'm not going to have to take the thing down every five minute to reset it

(50 quid Maplin 1081 kit)
Ok about the spolling mistake Ray

I'm going a bit scenic I think

Can't upload the corrected page via Cumulus until I get weather center fixed. I'm using the System page as my home. I just tried ftp'ing it in the normal way and it looked a mess so I've deleted it for now.. I suppose I should just use the Index page as, well Index

, but I fancied building a home page from scratch. Sorry about over the top 'Code Red's. It's just that I've always been a gadget geek and radio nut and just love loads of lights, knobs, bells and whistles etc. Well I mean, what's the point of hobby if you can't have fun with it, right?.
Cheers!, Brian.
