Alarms on web page

Hi Steve, I noticed, whilst playing with the 'Weather Blue' template last week before basically giving up with it, that your alarm states had lights in place of the default 0/1. Wonder if you know how they do that?.

Only other way, I suppose, is to find a user and look at the source code I guess. Any ideas, and maybe you could make it a future enhancement anyway.

Regards, Brian

I'm not completely sure what you mean, or what the future enhancement might be, but the idea of the web tags which give a 0 or 1 is that you use them in a something like javascript or PHP. You can then display a different image, or different text, depending on the state. You can even do it simply with HTML, if you have suitably named images, e.g.

<img src="images/record<#newrecord>.png">

You then put two images into your images folder, one called record0.png which is an unlit light, and the other called record1.png, which is a lit light.

Ok Steve, thanks for that. I'll have a play in a minute. Been working on my home page, getting PWS and APRS up and running etc. Going to include alarms when I have it sussed out ;)

Cheers! Brian. http://freespace.virgin.net/brian.walker3/wx/system.htm
