Realitme not updating

Hi folks i'm new to all this , bought a WH1080 clone ( Maplin) a couple of days ago. Got it connected to a laptop W7 64bit, works ok, Installed the realtime element it say loading data and the box disappears after about 5 seconds but no data. It seems to me that the Realtime.txt file isn't updating ( still at zero bytes).
Address is
www.moldweatherstation.com , ive put the client accesspolicy file in the root, i'm guessing ive probably accidentally unticked something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Steve

Hi Steve,
Go into your Internet Settings in Cumulus. Have you got Auto Update and Use active FTP mode ticked under the Web Settings heading? If, they're not ticked, ticking these will make your website automatically FTP.
Hope this helps...

Don't use active ftp mode as advised above unless you are sure that you need it.
Your site looks OK (and Cumulus Realtime is working) but the last update was at 02:21:54. Did you switch Cumulus off at that time, or should it still be updating?

Hi Steve,
Also, you may want to change your "Welcome to ." line on the
page.
To do this, open your indexT.htm file.
Change:
Code: Select all
<p>Welcome to <#longlocation>.</p>
To:
Hope this helps...

No, no, no. Don't do it like that. If you want to change it, go the the station settings in Cumulus, and put something in the 'description' box.
Another piece of advice; ignore Grimsley. Mind you, you won't need to do that soon...

Sorry, I didn't know you could do that.

Sorry?
I can't understand why you're going to ban me? It's ONE way, of sorting out the problem. I'm worried and confused...
