discrepancy value of rain rate

Yesterday I noticed there is a discrepancy in the amount of rain rate recorded and shown on the graphs?
It happens to anyone else? Is it a bug?
As you can see in my previous weather station, a fine-offset one, this was more accurate!?
Thank you in advance for any help.

Yes indeed helps.
What I did not know was that the same applied to the rain rate data.
Thank you Mark for your help.

Yet another question about the same topic.
Before with a fine-offset weather station whenever recorded 0.3 mm of rainfall (which was its least), marked a 3.5 mm of rain-rate, now with the Davis when it registers the 0.2 mm of rain does not mark anything in the rain-rate graph.
This is normal?
Thanks!

Yes, it's the way Davis stations calculate rain rate - by the time between tips. So it takes two tips within 15 minutes before it shows a rain rate.
If you want to know more about how your station calculates some of its data (including the answer to your rain rate question), there's a useful document from Davis here:

Hi Steve.
Thank you for your answer and the link with so useful information.
I hope you already have your contact lenses and everything is well now with your vision!

No, I'm afraid not; I'm hoping they come in the post this morning. I'm still having to use some glasses that I'm not used to
