Hi,
I have a La Crosse WS-2308AL and the rain gauge has failed again. After numerous Thermo-Hydro sensor replacements and one rain gauge replacement, I am cutting my losses with using the rain gauge that is supplied by La Crosse for this unit. I am considering buying a rain gauge that is NOT from La Crosse. My question is this:
Is there a stand alone rain gauge that I can use that can be linked to my computer (separate from my weather station), and be imported into Cumulus?
Thank you,
Tom

Re: Seperate Rain Gauge
Cumulus has some support for these: http://www.rainsensors.com/
They can be used in 'tipping bucket' mode, but the data from them is held separately in Cumulus, rather than completely replacing a 'built-in' rain gauge. I think people have had mixed results with them.
