New quake-json.php script

Post by actioman »

Hi there.

I've been out a while from the amateur meteorology, but with the purchase of a cabled Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus I'm back. :D

I've been updating slowly, because in just one year there were many good improvements, Ken never stops!
I had put this question in an American forum of meteorology, but got no answer...

You can not implement the same system in "quake-json.php" script to the EMSC-CSEM pages?
After all we are already enough people to use your Saratoga Templates.

Also strange no more people asking the same? We would win in increased sensitivity to european earthquakes.
The EMSC-CSEM data has M2+ data for European earthquakes and the same M4+ data for the rest of the world.

So Ken, if it is not too much to ask, and if you have some time, we will appreciate!

Many thanks you for your great work.
Kind Regards, Manuel.

Hi Manuel,

Yes, I've been thinking about how to best use the ECMA data for a 'quake-json' like presentation.

They do have an RSS feed which might be useable for the info. I do have it on the future project list :)

I'm currently working on:
1) a rip-out/rebuild of the home office network and all the stations in it -- about 90% done
2) next up is a template build for the new Meteobridge appliance. I also have a template build for wswin32 to complete.
3) complete the new Affiliated Regional Network Google map (V3 API) and the local Google-based mesomap displays for the regional networks.
4) urgent fixes to existing scripts based on source website changes (thankfully none needed at present).

Best regards,
Ken
