Firstly, what a brilliant discovery Cumulus has been for me.
As a new user I have had some issues installing & using the station & software, my biggest problem was false rainfall readings and probably caused by moving the station while connected. Duh!
I attempted to reset the data in Dayfile.txt and all of the records editor.
I now get the following error messages:
27/02/2013 00:54:15 : Error writing monthlyalltime.ini: Cannot create file "C:\Cumulus\data\monthlyalltime.ini". The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open
27/02/2013 00:58:55 : Error writing monthlyalltime.ini: Cannot create file "C:\Cumulus\data\monthlyalltime.ini". The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open
27/02/2013 09:42:51 : Error writing alltime.ini: Cannot create file "C:\Cumulus\data\alltime.ini". The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open
I´m not yet experienced enough to deal with modifying the data folder, the lines of data are very intimidating.
Perhaps resetting all my data from scratch is the simplest solution?
What is the best advice please?

Re: `user-mapped section open´ issues
Do you have any of those files open for editing with another program?

Those errors are almost certainly caused by some other process having the files open. Have you tried rebooting your PC?

Thank you Steve, a reboot solved the issue.
