Post by meteosp »

Hi,

i've update to the last release but i've some problems, is the second time that cumulus sign wrong value, first time have sign 800mm of rain in one hour and i've modify it in comulus, now in the recent extreme display 70°C!!!

I use 3 software togheter and others software show the correct value.

My questions are:

How can i modify the max temp value to set it correctly?

Why happens this?

Best regard and sorry for my english

Fine Offset stations are well known for generating 'garbage' values; not just with Cumulus, but with other software too. Cumulus automatically filters out a lot of the garbage, and it also has 'spike removal' settings on the calibration screen. You need to set those up and then you should have fewer problems in future.

Cumulus has built-in editors for all-time records etc. You can also edit the files manually, using a text editor. Today's highs and lows are in today.ini, for example. The formats of the data files are in the help and in the wiki. You can also search on the forum for where I have answered questions about correcting data time and time again.

You say you are using 3 programs at the same time? That's guaranteed to cause problems with the data.

Yes, the 'High' value in the [Temp] section.
