Post by dimitris vichos »

if the popout graphs its bigger than 550 px width, the graphs of the middle gauges appears only the half in the left side of page.
i like to resize from the css to 700x300 for better looking.

Well, the behaviour depends on how big your browser size is. With my 1600 pixel wide monitor it works fine. But if I reduce the browser size then you have a problem.

The tooltip popup is positioned 20 pixels to the left or right of the cursor. With a 700 pixel wide graph, the popup is 724 pixels wide. Therefore if the browser window width is less then (724 + 20) * 2 = 1488 pixels wide the popup cannot be displayed without it going off the screen to one side or the other. The script places the popup to the right of the cursor by default, but if this means that if the popup will go off the right hand side of the browser window it switches to displaying on the left - it does not check if it will also overflow the left hand side.

So you need to think about all the users of your site, will they all have screens at least 1500 pixels wide? If not then your large graphs will be truncated for them when the cursor is in the middle of the screen. There is nothing you can do about that, the graph will not physically fit either side of the cursor.
