Cumulus/CumulusRealtime problems

Post by ttexsun »

Hello, I need help to set my Cumulus web pages to automaticly update. At one time I had it set up to update every 12 seconds and now I can't  remember where I went to set this up. You could see the seconds count down and see the web page update 8-) . at 0 seconds and would start over again. Also I am having trouble :? getting CumulusRealtime :bash: to work again. I had upgraded to a newer website designer and trying to get my weather station setup again. Thanks for the great Cumulus software. My new website is http://www.tdjww.com Thanks for all the help  you have given me in the past and also in the future. ttexsun

I don't think you are talking about Cumulus realtime interval as you mention a countdown, but just in case that is in Cumulus / Configuration / Internet / Site/Options Tab and is the Realtime interval at the bottom of the Web Settings box.

Since you mention a countdown are you talking about the SteelSeries Gauges or the Silverlight Cumulus realtime, if so the setup for both of them are in the wiki (link at the top of the forum page).

I think Ken's pages (saratogaWX) show a countdown to the next update. Others using Ajax probably do the same thing. Or there's just the simple auto-refresh of an html page using Javascript, which was being discussed again recently. Hard for someone to help without knowing exactly what you were using.

Normally I'd ask for a link to the page, but if it isn't there that's not going to help. Have you uploaded a page to hold the Silverlight application? If so, then you probably haven't put it on your server in the place that corresponds to where you're expecting it to be. It's not really something that anyone can help with.

Ok, Thanks, I had It working before and I know it works here on my end. I'll just have to continue to play around with it till I get going again. It's something very simple I'am overlooking. Thanks again ttexsun

Your weather pages seem to be here: http://www.tdjww.com/wx/ so you need to put the CumulusRealtime.html page and the associated files into that same wx folder on your server.
