OS WMR88 Wind Not Reporting

I purchased the OS WMR88 back in August of 2012 and have had great success with it so far. However within the last week my wind sensor hasn't been reporting regularly. It will flat line for a few hours, then begin working again. When it does this my console doesn't read anything, it just shows dashes. I use Cumulus to read to Weather Underground and when this problem happens the last reported wind speed remains stuck in Cumulus (Sometimes it helps to restart Cumulus, but of late that does no good). I have replaced the batteries in the anemometer but that is all I've done to try to fix the problem and that didn't help. I see a Reset and Search button next to the batteries on the console, would one of these help? The temperature, dew point, barometer and rain gauge are all reporting correctly. I read through the manual but couldn't find an answer. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated, let me know if I can give any more information that could help!

Is the anemometer too far from the console, perhaps, or there's something blocking the signal?

No, nothing has changed since I first installed the station back in August that would be blocking the signal so I don't expect that to be the issue.
