FTPing problems

Post by Stuart2007 »

Using "Web update" I am getting regular FTP failure. Can anyone suggest a reason? I am using a wireless connection to a router, which is just 2 feet away.

See tailend of the FTPLOG file below

Re: FTPing problems

It's a timeout - no response from the server for 30 seconds. Unfortunately it's not possible to say any more than that from the available diagnostics. Where is the ftp server - local, or somewhere out on the internet?

The only setting I can think of in Cumulus that you could try would be to change to active ftp mode. That may just make things worse, of course.
