Tendency pressure threshold

Hi

Is there anyone on here that uses the fine offset anywhere near the RAF wittering area? My pressure thresholds are a bit off and just wondering what people in the general area are using, and the accuracy they've had with these settings?

Its currently sunny with very few clouds in the sky but my station was showing cloudy weather. Ive matched my relative pressure to match the weather station at RAF wittering but even on the lowest threshold settings it seems a bit off.

Thanks

David

Looking at the UK Met Office map for the Wittering area current pressure is around 1008.4hPa adjusted to sea level.

Hi

Yes, that's where I matched my pressure. Its the pressure threshold thats off as the tendency icons dont change very accurately.

I don't have the Fine Offset so can't really help with the adjustments required - sorry. Is the manual not clear on how it should be calibrated? How far off the Wittering reading is yours?
