F on wind screen

Post by AndyCon »

Hi

On the Cumulus main page in the wind section it gives Wind F#. Does the F mean the pasquill stability class?
If yes the how is it calculated as I have not got any solar or cloud cover data.

Also thanks for recent update

It's the current wind speed on the Beaufort scale. "F" = "Force". The text following it is the corresponding description.
