Rain measurments
This may be a very minor question, but one I am curious about. Right now my Cumulus 1.93 build 1058 says the rain gauge recorded .04" in the past 24 hours, but .05" today (and it is only 9:15 AM right now). What causes this very minor discrepancy? I have seen this on a regular basis when we do happen to actually get some rain.

Re: Rain measurments
Do you run Cumulus all the time, or do you start and stop it? If you start and stop Cumulus, the difference is almost certainly down to conversion from mm to inches and the fact the 24 hour figure uses the totals in the log file, which are already rounded.
If you don't start and stop Cumulus, zip up the diags folder and attach it, together with your February log file, and I'll take a look.

Yes, I do stop it. The computer is shut down at about 10:00 PM and started up again at about 8:00 AM. Glad to hear the answer is so simple. Thanks!steve wrote:Do you run Cumulus all the time, or do you start and stop it?
