Hi,
Have just upgraded my main PC to Win8 Pro after testing on another PC.
For a while now I have been using the
'View unread posts' option to keep up to date with new forum posts.
Under Win7/IE9 and WinXP/IE8, when all posts in a thread had been read, backing out to the main list of unread posts would also remove the now read thread from the list.
This no longer happens.
This seems to be a change in the behaviour of Win8/IE10 & Win8/Chrome compared to Win7/IE9 (I don't know what it was like before in Win7/Chrome as I don't use Chrome except for testing.)
It still behaves the same as it used to from a WinXP/IE8 PC.

Re: Forum behaviour change - Win8/IE10&Chrome?
The just read post remains on the list for me if I use the 'back' button (win7/Chrome), but it is removed if I click the View unread posts link - which is what I normally do.

Interesting as I did not/don't have to make that extra step of again clicking on the 'View unread posts link' with Win7/WinXP.mcrossley wrote:The just read post remains on the list for me if I use the 'back' button (win7/Chrome), but it is removed if I click the View unread posts link - which is what I normally do.
