hi Guys,
I have a Fine Offset WH 3080 with Solar-transmitter,i change the Battery from the outside Unit and start new with the Base-Station and everything works fine, but the next day the Solar-Transmitter show nothing, i have to reset and it work for one Day.
The Strange thing is if Cumulus upload to Twitter it shows Solar Radiation. :o
(Temp: 5.6°C # Wind:1.7m/s # Pressure: 1002.6hpa Rising slowly # Solar Radiation 114W. # Forecast: Fairly fine, improving)
I don't know what is wrong , may Somebody have a Idea .

regards Kalli

Hi Kalli,

There are several possible causes of "Lost Contact" from the Solar Pod. The most common appears to be due to an excessive light level, but that seems unlikely in your case. See this very long thread which still didn't come to any definitive solution.

The "Maximum Solar radiation" is just a theoretical calculation within Cumulus of the expected solar radiation if there are no clouds.

Cheers, Alan.
