Calculating Mean Daily Temps

Post by Cambium »

I came across this when I wanted to know the mean temp for today since the low and high was set for today but the day is not over.

When looking at the other mean temps they didnt calculate like I thought.

I thought you take the high temp and low temp and get the middle. I assume thats incorrect. How does Cumulus calculate the Mean Daily Temperatures?

Here's my data for the last 8 days. I was hoping to get the mean for today before the day was up.

Cumulus takes the mean of the one minute values.

Kinda what I assumed after seeing the high/low didnt work. Thanks! Makes sense too, being its more accurate. Temps can be closer to the lows then the highs so the one minue values will reflect it better than the actual High/Low.

Thanks again.
