Newbie Question

Post by IdahoRevBob »

Does the Cumulus software need to stay open in order to send data to Wunderground? Or, will it continue to send data when closed? I used to run VWS with an older Oregon Scientific PWS and it all happened magically in the background....... :|

I have a Ambient Weather WS-2080 using Fine Offset settings and I run Vista on my PC.

It can't send data to WU while it's not running, no software can do anything while it's not running. It will however attempt to catch up when you start it up again, using the data it downloads from the station's logger.

An opinion should be the result of a thought process, not a substitution.
