Is there a setting I need to make sure I have correct for wind chill, as just compared my outside temp graph to Steves where his is a nice up and down line and mind seems to take big up and down drops, never noticed it before.... Maybe it's just my wind excuse the pun...
You can see it here

I think you have to deselect 'Use speed for avg calculation' in the Settings page. It will then calculate a higher wind speed which will then make wind chill more representative.

If the wind speed is around 4.8 km/h, the answer is in the wind speed 'cutoff' as in the article that Paul linked to.

Thanks to all who replied, so nothing I can really do to 'smooth' out the graph then....

Is a 'pretty' graph more important to you than accurate data? I could put in an option to ignore the actual data and draw aesthetically pleasing graphs instead.

Hi Steve, it's just I never noticed the up's and downs before like that, so I wondered if I had not set something correct, as regards to pretty ones a nice shade of pink would suffice

and as it happens we have no wind so no wind chill..... Just a lot of ice and snow.
