Does Cumulus generate a weather data file in APRS format that I can use to send weather information with the ham radio UI View software or is it only limited to sending data via the Internet to the CWOP/APRS servers?
Secondly does anyone know anything about Weatherwise Instruments weather stations. Will Cumulus work with one of these? Is it made by Fine Offset for instance??

Yes, it creates a file called wxnow.txt once a minute, in its program folder.wb2ftx wrote:Does Cumulus generate a weather data file in APRS format that I can use to send weather information with the ham radio UI View software or is it only limited to sending data via the Internet to the CWOP/APRS servers?
Yes, Weatherwise stations are rebadged Fine Offset stations, and hence work with Cumulus.Secondly does anyone know anything about Weatherwise Instruments weather stations. Will Cumulus work with one of these? Is it made by Fine Offset for instance??
