As you can see the Gatwick distance is 14 miles ;)

Have you double checked your icons directory and its content ?

1. The icons are not being diplayed
2. The distance from station are way off e.g. Gatwick 40 miles, actual is 15 miles.
3. Cloud details reported in metres and not feet.

The trouble is I don't know php and...... I'm proably not to bright
OK - I've sorted 1., some how I had got an incomplete metar-images folder. If anyone knows an answer for 2 & 3 please let me know.

Hi guys,

Has anyone noticed that the date format in the wxmetar.php is really odd? It's currently showing Y/m/d h:i and I want it to to show d/m/Y h:i...is there a fix for this?

HI William,

Nothing odd on this side (see attachment).
Day-Date-Year are displayed correctly.

Cheers,

Arthur

Hi William,

Checked the settings and this is what it shows in my script:
$SITE['timeFormat'] = 'D, d-M-Y g:ia T'; // Day, 31-Mar-2006 6:35pm Tz (USA Style)
$SITE['latitude'] = '43.8225'; //North=positive, South=negative decimal degrees
$SITE['longitude'] = '-79.1370'; //East=positive, West=negative decimal degrees

Cheers,

Arthur

Hi Arthur,

No, it's the code at the bottom of each METAR box like the one in your attachment!

Umm.. this is the wrong thread for this discussion (which is for non-Saratoga template implementation of the METAR display)

Also, your page (using the Saratoga template) is showing
Updated: 18:20 26/01/2013
which is in d/m/Y format.

Still the wrong thread, but...

The display at the bottom of each METAR display is the RAW METAR from NOAA .. it is not reformatted, it is simply displayed as-is.

I think this has to do with the code (format) the actual METAR station is reporting.....????

Cheers,
