I have an issue where I am getting the occasional low temperature spike, its happened a couple of times in the last couple of weeks. The spike removal will not help me as that only seems to help with high temp spikes, I really don't know why its happening but it really messes up my data as even though I can edit the error out from jan13.txt it changes all time/year/month records, and I have to manually put them back, fortunately i can remember what and when my record low is, but has anyone else had this before, and it there an easier way to put things right?
ps: it also screws up my PWS website data, and it does not look I can edit this to put that right?

Re: Annoying low Temperature spikes
Spike removal operates on the difference between two successive readings, regardless of the direction. If it's not working for you, that suggests that they are not 'spikes' in the normal Fine Offset way, and that perhaps your temperature sensor is starting to fail?
An easier way to reinstate records is to use the relevant .ini files from one of the Cumulus backup folders; in 1.9.3 it takes a copy at the end of each day. Note that .ini files are only read are start up, so you need to copy them while Cumulus is stopped.
