Steve has accommodated you once. Why not leave it there? If your username is so important to you then you should have given it more thought when you first registered.

Remember what he said to you a few weeks ago. I'd leave it if I were you. Steve is a pretty busy bloke and needs to spend his time more productively.

Because phpBB the forum software this forum uses makes it difficult to do so and it takes time, so I suggest you take heed of what Ray says.

I fail to understand why you need your forename to be spelt out in full. I've used an abbreviation of mine for years.

The content and quality of your messages is far more important than how your user name is spelt. I suggest you don't re-register as this will only inflame the situation. This is a privately run forum. Steve sets the rules. If he say's no I'd leave it there.
