I was thinking about a way to have today's snow accumulation display on my website using the snow webtag.
My first thought was to modify index.htm. Since we only occasionally have snow here in West Texas, I thought the ideal way to do that would be to use javascript to include a line only when the snow amount was not zero.
My second thought was to somehow use a freeform webtag. If the webtag could be filled with enough characters, I could just enter, for example, "2 inches of snow today" and have that displayed. I could use the same tag to enter "Blowing sand today" or any other condition/event.
So here are my questions... Has someone already written a javascript addition for index.htm that would conditionally show snow on the Today page? Is there an easy way to create my own webtag to accomplish my second idea?
Thanks,
Les

Re: Freeform Webtag?
I just started to use the Current field on Cumulus console and its <#currcond> and <#snowdepth> from the Weather Diary webtags to show snow on my index.htm (I enter both every morning)

Thanks Paul!
That works very well for what I wanted to do. I just didn't realize that a webtag was created for the Current Condition box (which I didn't have checked in the configuration until you pointed it out).
